One of the highlights of our homeschool co-op is the annual science fair. This was our second year to participate. Last year was AWESOME! And I have to say, this year was just as great.
Caleb has this horrible habit of looking over my shoulder while Im browsing Pinterest. A few months ago he saw this picture:
And thought it was the coolest thing ever! You can find the Pin here for more information.
When it came time to begin planning his science project he asked if he could try to reproduce the results in the above picture. So we set about doing just that.
This one is my favorite! I just love his curiosity.
After he had conducted his experiment he had to create his board for the the fair:
Caleb was very diligent and adamant that he do this project on his own as much as possible. He worked tirelessly gathering information, taking care of his ants and preparing his board. He was so proud of his finished product
And I am proud of him! He learned so much and worked so very hard! He was awarded a participation award from co-op and a tube of mini M&Ms! At that makes it all worth while to him 🙂
